Lewis Ferguson commented after the match: ‘We secured a good point on a difficult pitch against a team with very strong players. In the first half we created a lot of chances, in the second half Benfica pressed a lot and we defended well and with intensity. The level of the Champions League is high, and tonight we showed our mentality. I’m happy to be back playing; I’m still not one hundred per cent and need some time but I’ll be back on top form soon.’
