Vincenzo Italiano’s thoughts at the end of Empoli 1-1 Bologna

Vincenzo Italiano commented on the draw at the Castellani: “You can’t always play at a very high pace, even though we always try. Credit must be given to Empoli, because they disrupted our plans a lot in the first half. We did well to equalise early in the second half. We were a bit unlucky with a few of the scrappy balls in the area near the end, but coming to win here is never easy. We move forward and keep going”.
